Vintage and retro news from Mondo Kaos

On this page you will find our very latest items. That means all the amazing new models from our wonderful vintage brands, but of course also our vintage classics in new colors and patterns.
Since we love to have a wide selection of retro and vintage clothing based on fashion from the decades 1940, 1950 and 1960, and also always want to be able to offer our customers new and exciting things, we only take a few home of each. That is, when vintage and retro news lands and you fall in love with a certain piece of clothing, it can be recommended that you are a little quick, either by the keys to the online shop, or that you come down to the physical store and buy your new vintage favorite clothes.

Large selection of vintage clothes in high quality

Our news, and in general all our vintage clothes, are most often produced in small environmentally friendly batches, which are based on the fact that it is beautiful design and high quality which therefore should not land on 'landfills' and burden the environment. Therefore, we often can not re-order our beautiful vintage clothes even if we wanted to. With many brands, we order before productions have even started, in order to reduce overproduction. This means that with our vintage news there is not always time to just wait a bit and look at the time, as for example your new favorite vintage blouse with beautiful novelty print or vintage dress with tigers, or the wedding dress you fell in love with, can quickly be sold out and then no more can be re-ordered. In this way, of course, you also ensure that your clothes are as unique as yourself and are not worn by everyone.
The latest vintage dresses, blouses, pants that may have just landed today, you will find on this page. We regularly add new items, so check in often, as we get new vintage delicacies in up to several times a week! And you do not want to miss them, do you?
If you want to be sure to stay informed and want to prevent you from missing a special new vintage item, you can also sign up for our newsletter. There will be approx. once a week, and keeps you updated on what news is on the way to the store.
We carry everything around the vintage wardrobe, and since we are a small shop with limited storage space, we run with seasonal items; so it's the summer of you find news in the categories; vintage summer dresses, short-sleeved, light shirt blouses, shorts, vintage style swimwear etc. In the winter we wear all the slightly warmer clothes such as beautiful vintage winter cardigans and coats.
We always have a large selection of news in vintage and retro dresses, blouses and skirts! And we carry everything from classic retro in beautiful feminine style to the woman who wants to focus on the beautiful shapes, over vintage style clothing in eg pinup and rockabilly style.
In addition, we also carry vintage trousers, shoes, outerwear and many other categories within vintage clothing, and everything comes in regularly, so there are always new items on the shelves.

Vintage and retro news in the webshop and in the shop

We generally have exactly the same vintage goods in the physical store as online in the webshop. But it can of course be great with guidance from our super knowledgeable staff. If you would like to see and try our beautiful vintage novelties in person, we warmly recommend that you stop by Mondo Kaos in Nørrebro. Here our staff are ready to show you all the wonderful vintage news, so remember to ask if you are specifically looking for all the new splendid vintage and retro clothes.

Vintage clothing, retro clothing or repro clothing?

As most of our customers already know, our clothes are not "true vintage". This means that it is not secondhand clothing made in the middle of the last century, but reproduced (repro) clothing which is inspired, with great love for the details, by vintage clothing, prints and sewing patterns. However, we have found that the vast majority of our customers do not know the term "repro", but use both retro and vintage to describe the clothes we sell, despite the fact that they are newly produced clothes. That's why we do exactly the same here Mondo Kaos. All our clothes are always newly produced, not second-hand, and are primarily inspired by the wonderful, feminine fashion from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
