Mondo Kaos X Daisy Dapper 

Mondo Kaos took over in the weaning of 2021 the fantastic retro brand Daisy Dapper. Mondo Kaos owner Ditte, who has run Daisy Dapper since the brand's inception, thinks that Daisy Dapper was the perfect in-house brand for Mondo Kaos, whose focal point since the beginning has been the 1950s' colorful swing style and hourglass-emphasized outfits. 

Mondo Kaos naturally intends to continue Daisy Dapper in the same spirit, so that fans of Daisy Dapper can still get the beautiful 1950s Daisy Dapper designs. Of course, we will continue the bestsellers, and more new styles will be added, of course in the right and well-known Daisy Dapper style.

Marilyn and Dita as inspiration for Dais Dapper

Daisy Dapper's designs are based on the pinup and rockabilly community in the USA of the 50's, and among their sources of inspiration are the Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe and the contemporary Pinup Dita von Teese.
The clothes have a fantastic fit that makes all girls and women feel feminine and comfortable, regardless of body type and size. And that's whether it's one of their elegant 50's dresses or feminine trouser suits it's all about!

We have brought in Daisy Dapper Mondo Kaos since 2012, and our range of styles from Daisy Dapper includes e.g. their beautiful dresses, skirts, trousers and pantsuits. 

This is how the Daisy Dapper collections are made

Daisy Dapper's collections are produced at a family - owned sewing studio in Vietnam. From design and sewing to the choice of fabric and material, we are in close contact and hands-on!
When we create our own Daisy Dapper designs, it is with us and our customers in mind Mondo Kaos as we know so well. We have optimized the entire process by employing a cutter who goes over all our designs (including the previous ones) so that we are assured that all designs "sit right in the cupboard".

50s inspired dresses from Daisy Dapper

Daisy Dapper dresses in vintage style include pencil dresses, swing dresses and A-line cut dresses. Among the pencil dresses you will find sexy diner dresses and elegant cocktail dresses that highlight the figure in the most beautiful way. The swing dresses are also made in various models, including classic shirt dresses and elegant party dresses with draped bosoms. 

The classic model 'Marilyn' is a classic i Mondo Kaos. It is a classic waisted swing dress with a V-neck and drapes at the bust and a full skirt, inspired by the white dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in the movie The Seven Year Itch from 1955. This model has been further optimized and for the autumn/winter collection a new version with long sleeves will be added.

In addition, we make beautiful A-line dresses with empire cuts, inspired by the simple elegance of the 40s.

Classic retro style skirts from Daisy Dapper

Our selection of retro skirts from Daisy Dapper consists of the classic pencil skirt and swing skirt, which we always have in assortment in several colors. Furthermore, there is a classic A-line skirt on the way, so we cover the whole spectrum. 

The pencil skirt is made in a classic 50s design and is high-waisted, tailored and with a nice slit on the back. It is the perfect pencil skirt because it has a really good fit, is good to move in and because it gives a really nice silhouette - in addition, you can use it for all kinds of outfits and looks, whether it is for a classic white women's shirt , a T-shirt in rockabilly style or an elegant blouse with dolman sleeves in 40s style. It is also perfect with a blazer where it creates a classic office look.

Daisy Dapper's swing skirts are also created from a classic 50's design with a high waistband and a full swing skirt that has room for a petticoat. It's a timeless design that can be used for all occasions and types of style, so you do not have to have a particular vintage or retro style to wear Daisy Dapper's skirts - they's for all women!

Feminine trouser suits in retro style from Daisy Dapper

A bestseller from Daisy Dapper also includes the Maxine pantsuit! A fantastic trouser suit in 1940s style with beautiful details that give an authentic retro look! The design has taken inspiration from the 40's pinups and the 'we can do it' campaign, and it is feminine and practical at the same time - e.g. it has small straps in the trouser legs that can be laced up so that the legs do not get dirty when you cycle.
As something new, the trouser suit is now also available in a summer version with short sleeves.
